The Black Caucus Alliance is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for lasting systemic change to realize greater equity for Black Communities in Mississauga and beyond. We work to dismantle barriers to success and ensure that Black residents have equal opportunities and resources.

The Black Caucus Alliance, is committed to addressing systemic barriers and creating a more equitable future for Black communities. As an independent nonprofit organization, we advocate for change through collaboration and co-design, empowering communities to shape the polices that impact their lives.
Our work began as a dedicated advisory group to Mississauga’s former Mayor Bonnie Crombie on improving equity, with a focus on ensuring opportunities for Black resident. Today, we are proud to extend our mission, engaging with communities across the city to build solutions that address barriers in political access, policing, resources, well being, and economic empowerment.
